How to book an appointment online?
Book your appointment by sending a notice to the salon manager’s email. Please mention your name, phone number, and the service(s) required.
We will respond to you and confirm your appointment.
How is gel polish or Shellac polish removed?
Gel polish is very difficult to remove with standard nail polish remover and if you peel it off it can damage your nails so it is always advisable to book in for professional take off at …Nails
This involves gentle hand filing, an acetone soak for a few minutes. Your (Name Salon) Technician will then use tools to remove the last of the polish and neaten up your nails ready to go!
Do you use MMA in your acrylic extensions?
Never! Our Acrylic powders are EMA (Ethyl Methacrylate) and (nails salon name) is rigorously inspected by the local authority annually to ensure we uphold this.
Salons that offer acrylic extensions at cheap prices are often using MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) which is used in the dental industry. MMA bonds to your nails too harshly, leading to some really bad damage to your natural nail – as a chemical MMA was never designed to come into contact with skin and nails – it is too hard to be used for acrylic extensions and can tear the nail from the nail bed easily!
How do i care for my nails after my manicure?
To keep a manicure lasting to its full potential avoid getting your nails wet for too long (constant soaking in hot baths or not wearing rubber gloves when washing the dishes) and also avoid coming into contact for prolonged periods with chemicals like those in sunscreen, perfumed products and insect repellent.
Get someone else to do the DIY or tough chores that might cause your manicure to lift, and apply cuticle oil morning and night if you can. This will keep your nails super healthy throughout the duration of your manicure and it will help keep the polish intact.
Finally, don’t pick at your manicure under any circumstances. Instead Book in for a Nail repair if one or nails have damaged otherwise treat yourself to another treatment.
How long does a gel polish/ Shellac manicure last for?
With cuticle work and full nail preparation, a gel or shellac manicure should last about 2 weeks with proper application and aftercare. At Trieu Nails London we offer an express version of a gel manicure, but if you want that complete 2 week guarantee then we advise going for the full gel (shellac) manicure.
Can i put acrylics back on immediately after soaking off the old acrylics?
Yes, it’s fine to re-apply acrylics straight away as natural nails are made up of keratin (protein) so nails don’t breathe. If you have ripped your acrylics off causing the natural nail to thin however, then you might want to wait to harden the nails back up, as the acrylics will just add more stress on top of damaged nails
What’s the difference between Acrylic, Gel Powder and UV Gel Nails?
For Acrylic nails the strong resin made of a powder and a liquid mixed together. It’s very hard wearing and we recommend it to people that bite their nails or use their hands a lot.
For Gel Powder Nails the resin is a lot like acrylic and the composition is very similar. However, the finish is more clear compared to acrylic nails and its slight better quality. We’d recommend this to anyone going for a pale/nude colour on their manicured nails.
UV Gel nails on the other hand is a hard gel that will allow you to make your nails longer without damaging your nail bed too much. It’s more flexible than acrylic and gel powder and not as hard wearing but it feels lighter on your hands. This needs to be cured by UV light, hence the name
What's the difference between tips and sculpture?
Plastic tips are placed on your natural nails and cut and filed to your desired length and shape before applying acrylic or gel.
Nail Sculptures differ on the other hand. Nail forms are placed at the tip of your nails and product is applied according to the desired length. While the product is drying, the nails will be pinched on the sides to give it more of a natural look. After the product has completely dried the nail form will be removed leaving you with a beautiful and natural nail shape. This system leaves you with a more durable set of nails compared to the tip system. However, this does take slightly longer and costs a few pounds more.

I have loved Lafayette Nail Spa since they opened! It is the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to and I have always received great service. Everyone there is great! Hanna does a beautiful job on my nails
Everyone that works here is friendly and experienced. I will not go anywhere else. The shop is very clean and organized. I get acrylic nails, pedicures, and lash extensions done and I’m always happy when I leave!
Upon entering this business you are struck by the beautiful design of the interior! A calm music plays and it is decorated so well. All of the employees were attentive and concerned for the well-being of all there. I got a pedicure and have to say it was one of the best I have gotten! The massage was AMAZING! I will definitely make this my preferred salon

My first time visiting this nail spa, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff member behind the desk. The atmosphere is a relaxing spa with beautiful neutral tones.
I had a rare moment away from my toddler for a little mommy time and I was a walk-in. They were extremely busy, but they were gracious enough to squeeze me in for a gel manicure & eyebrow waxing(I was ever so grateful).
Hannah did an amazing job and everyone on the staff was very friendly.
I would highly recommend them and I will definitely be back(with an appointment next time). Thank you, ladies!
I had gotten my nails done at a different salon the day before. I wasn’t happy with them. They were really thick and the paint was really bad. I went in today and had Alex at the nail spa repaint and shape them. He did such a great job!!! They almost feel like my real nails after he reshaped them. I’ve never had such nice nails in my life. This place is the best in town. Everyone is so kind and they all do fantastic work. I have tried lots of places in town and I will only ever be going to this salon in the future!
Lafayette Nail Spa is the best place to get your nails done in Lafayette! Very clean, organized, all the staff that works there does an amazing job and takes their time to achieve what you are wanting done and they are all very sweet!!! I go and see Hannah every 2 weeks and I love her! I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done!!💅🏼💗💞 110% recommended!!!👍🏼
I absolutely love Lafayette Nail Spa! I have been going to this salon for over a year. The owners Anne and Hannah are my favorite nail techs! I typically schedule with Annale but will go to Hannah if I can’t get in with Annale. They both do amazing work and are always friendly. If I ever have an issue with my nail, they fix it immediately. I broke a nail the day after my appointment, I was able to walk in and they fixed it on the spot. I cannot recommend Lafayette Nail Spa enough, I tell all my family and friends about this salon.
