How do i care for my nails after my manicure?
To keep a manicure lasting to its full potential avoid getting your nails wet for too long (constant soaking in hot baths or not wearing rubber gloves when washing the dishes) and also avoid coming into contact for prolonged periods with chemicals like those in sunscreen, perfumed products and insect repellent.
Get someone else to do the DIY or tough chores that might cause your manicure to lift, and apply cuticle oil morning and night if you can. This will keep your nails super healthy throughout the duration of your manicure and it will help keep the polish intact.
Finally, don’t pick at your manicure under any circumstances. Instead Book in for a Nail repair if one or nails have damaged otherwise treat yourself to another treatment.
What are cuticles? And which package will include cuticle work?
Cuticles are the small overgrowth of dead skin at the bottom of your nail plate. They join the living tissue to your nail, and protect you from any contaminants getting under your skin.
However, overgrown cuticles are no good! Cuticles should be kept pushed back and tidy to keep your nails looking healthy- short, pushed back cuticles also help you get neat, long lasting polish application and help your nails look longer and more elegant. With standard polish, manicures and pedicures, we advise booking a full manicure and pedicure as oppose to our express treatments. With gel polish, the shellac manicure treatment will do the trick!
What is nail fungus and how can it be prevented?
If the natural nail is pulling away from the nail bed then it will possible that the nail fungus will show underneath. The right application and maintenance of the nail extension will help prevent a nail fungus, as well as using products such as a nail antiseptic or fungal nail treatment
What is an Overlay?
This is when either acrylic or gel is applied over the natural nail without the need of a nail extension.
Ideal for those who want just some slight length and thicker nails
Can i put acrylics back on immediately after soaking off the old acrylics?
Yes, it’s fine to re-apply acrylics straight away as natural nails are made up of keratin (protein) so nails don’t breathe. If you have ripped your acrylics off causing the natural nail to thin however, then you might want to wait to harden the nails back up, as the acrylics will just add more stress on top of damaged nails
How long does it take for treatment?
Different treatments will vary in different times. Please have a look at our scheduling page here for a full list of treatments, prices and duration of the treatment.
What is a manicure ?
Nails classical manicure consists of a warm hand soak, filing and shaping the free edge of the nails, pushing and clipping (with a cuticle pusher and cuticle nippers) and application of fingernail polish. The more advanced treatments will take longer and vary in treatment methodology and price.
How can i prevent the nail polish from staining my nails?
Nails often turn yellowish when a strong, pigmented polish is applied. To prevent pigmentation, make sure you put base coat on prior to applying the coloured polish so it acts as a barrier.
Or simply choose for a less potent colour
Can i book more than one treatment at the same time?
Yes. However, our system only allows one booking at a time. Most of our treatments have a drop down add on list so you can click on a specific treatment and have a drop down list to choose from. Where there isn’t a drop then, then take note of the time and duration of your first treatment, checkout your booking and click schedule another appointment. Make sure it follows after your first treatment you booked.
What causes your acrylic or gel nails to lift?
This can happen for many reasons. Acrylics take 24 – 48 hours to fully cure, and a slight knock during that time can cause the acrylics to lift.
Other reasons for lifting include: diseased nail plate, not maintaining regular infills, nicotine, fruit acids such as lemons, oranges, and other citrus fruits, harsh detergents, using a acetone based nail polish remover, medication, stress, misuse of nails, occupation, picking and biting, excessive use of oils and creams, or even just wearing the nail too long can cause lifting.
My 10 yr old and I had a great time today! Staff was friendly and kind, and they did a great job! We’ll come back again 👍😃
I highly recommend Luxury because the service is great. You get pampered and the work they do is excellent. Be sure to see Cindy. You’ll love her!

This is by far one of the best nail salons. I have been to a lot but I love this place. The owners are husband and wife and they both are so kind and nice. They actually care about you and want to make you have the best experience possible. If you haven’t been here you need to try them.
Went in to pamper myself for my birthday…Told the guy Steven exactly what i wanted and he delivered!! Very nice!! I love them! Never had not one bad experience with them! They’re all GREAT!!

I just completed my 6th visit to Luxury Nails for Shellac Manicure. The establishment is always spotless and the Nail Techs are all experienced, and quick. I have had 3 different techs during my visits and all have done a great job. I am overly picky with my nails so if you are as well this is your place!
I use to be a regular at another nail salon in north Little Rock until I came here for a bachelorette party and discovered this place. Every time I come in they give me exactly what I want and go above and beyond! They have such a professional atmosphere and everyone is so amazing. My nails have never looked so good
I have received manicure, pedicure, eyelash extensions, eyebrows waxed there is nothing this place can’t do. Everybody who works does amazing work on anything you get done. I love the owners they both are amazing. My nail always last at least a month if not longer even without a fill in. This is by far the best nail place I have ever been to. That says a lot since I travel and have been to a bunch of nail shops. If you haven’t been here go set a appointment TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT.
Looking for a new nail salon as I just moved to Arkansas, I found Luxury Nails and Spa. Luckily they were open on a Sunday, which many salons are not! I arrived a few minutes before 1 pm (the time they open on Sundays) and was the first one to be seated and served. I did not make an appointment. I unfortunately did not get the girls name who did my nails, but she was the younger one out of them all (she has braces if that helps). She did an excellent job, I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. I will definitely be returning!! This salon is family owned attached is a picture of my nails, perfect color for fall!
The best pedicure! She made sure we were taken care of! Even helped me with my socks and my chair wasn’t working so she unplugged it and got it up and running. The staff really took care of my friend and I. Great communication before the appointment and during the appointment until my manicure. I’ve never had acrylics before since I’m in healthcare but thought I would finally treat myself after thinking about it for about a year. My friend had a wonderful experience with her manicure, exactly what she asked for and he was so friendly and nice to her. We asked for the same thing, square with rounded edges and mine was nothing like hers. My nails look completely round, but maybe the shape was too difficult for a shorter nail. I’m not sure bc he left my hand still in the shellac machine and walked off so I wasn’t sure if I was even done. He wasn’t nice at all and didn’t finish up with cuticle oil like my friend’s manicure ended with. Her manicurist had to tell me yes, you are done. He was so good and very nice. Maybe mine was having a bad day, but I ended up spending a little over $250 and had waited so long for this experience just to be so disappointed with his attitude, the result, and my manicure experience.
